Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1/4 cup espresso or strong coffee
  • 6 oz dark chocolate, melted
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix mascarpone cheese and heavy cream until smooth.
  2. Stir in powdered sugar, espresso, vanilla extract, and salt until fully combined.
  3. Melt dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, then cool slightly before adding to the mascarpone mixture. Mix until glossy.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm enough to scoop.
  5. Scoop out portions and roll into balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
  6. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder to coat and place on a serving platter.
