- Blackening spice mix (smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with blackening spice mix.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant; pour in heavy cream.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and reserve some cooking water.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted; adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Slice chicken and return to skillet with drained pasta; toss until well coated with sauce.
