  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • Candy eyes for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour combined with baking soda until just incorporated; avoid over-mixing.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Allow cooling on trays for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  8. Once cooled, drizzle or pipe white frosting over each cookie to resemble mummy bandages and add candy eyes.
