Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 cups popped popcorn (about 1/2 cup unpopped kernels)
  • 10 oz large marshmallows (about 40 marshmallows)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp orange food coloring
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Pop the popcorn according to package instructions. If using kernels, heat oil in a large pot over medium heat until shimmering before adding kernels.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt together butter and marshmallows until smooth and gooey, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in orange food coloring until desired shade is achieved. Gently fold in the popped corn until well coated.
  4. Lightly spray hands with cooking spray and shape the mixture into balls about the size of oranges.
  5. Press candy corn into each ball for decoration and place them on parchment paper to cool completely.
