Ingredients
- 8 cups popped popcorn (about 1/2 cup unpopped kernels)
- 10 oz large marshmallows (about 40 marshmallows)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp orange food coloring
- 1 cup candy corn
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Pop the popcorn according to package instructions. If using kernels, heat oil in a large pot over medium heat until shimmering before adding kernels.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt together butter and marshmallows until smooth and gooey, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and mix in orange food coloring until desired shade is achieved. Gently fold in the popped corn until well coated.
- Lightly spray hands with cooking spray and shape the mixture into balls about the size of oranges.
- Press candy corn into each ball for decoration and place them on parchment paper to cool completely.
