- 3 ripe peaches, sliced
- 4 cups water
- 4 black tea bags
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a large pot. Remove from heat and add black tea bags; steep for 5 minutes.
- While the tea steeps, wash and slice the peaches into thin wedges.
- Remove tea bags and stir in ½ cup sugar while tea is warm until dissolved.
- Add ¼ cup lemon juice and mix well.
- In a large pitcher, combine brewed tea, sliced peaches, and mint leaves if using. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
