This delightful drink showcases the sweetness of ripe strawberries and a hint of lemon, making it perfect for sunny picnics or poolside lounging. Easy to make and visually stunning, Frosé will be a crowd-pleaser at your next gathering.


Ingredients

  • 750 ml dry rosé wine
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (made from equal parts sugar and water)
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull strawberries; slice in half.
  2. Heat equal parts sugar and water (1 cup each) until dissolved; cool.
  3. Combine strawberries, rosé, simple syrup, lemon juice, and ice in a blender; blend until smooth.
  4. Adjust sweetness or acidity by adding more syrup or lemon juice as needed.
  5. Transfer to an airtight container; freeze for at least 4 hours.
  6. Let sit for 5 minutes before scooping into glasses; enjoy!
