- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
- 16 oz fresh mozzarella (sliced)
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 28 oz crushed tomatoes (canned)
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add cubed chicken breasts; cook until golden brown and cooked through.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes with salt and pepper; simmer for about 10 minutes.
- In the greased baking dish, spread a layer of the tomato sauce, followed by lasagna noodles, the chicken mixture, slices of mozzarella, and basil leaves. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up.
