  • 1 round wheel of Brie cheese (approximately 8 oz)
  • 1 sheet of thawed puff pastry
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 2 tbsp honey or fruit jam
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Place the Brie in the center of the pastry; drizzle with honey or spread jam, and sprinkle with nuts if desired.
  4. Fold pastry edges over the Brie and cut strips from excess pastry to create “bandages” on top.
  5. Brush the wrapped Brie with the beaten egg wash.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving with crackers or baguette slices.
