Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into rectangles (4×6 inches).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Place 2 tablespoons of filling on half of each pastry rectangle. Top with another rectangle and seal the edges.
- Brush with beaten egg for a golden color. Poke holes on top to allow steam to escape.
- Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Mix maple syrup with powdered sugar for glaze while cooling.
