Ingredients

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Fresh garlic
  • Hot honey
  • Low-sodium soy sauce
  • Bell peppers
  • Cooked rice or quinoa
  • Sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a bowl, mix hot honey and soy sauce. Brush half of this mixture onto the chicken.
  4. Place the chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (165°F/75°C internal temperature).
  5. Sauté sliced bell peppers in sesame oil for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Serve the baked chicken over rice or quinoa, topped with sautéed peppers and any remaining glaze.
