  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter until browned; let cool slightly. Mix in brown sugar and granulated sugar until combined.
  3. Whisk in eggs one at a time until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt; fold into wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in cranberries.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix oats with melted butter and brown sugar until crumbly; sprinkle on top of the cranberry layer.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown; cool before cutting into squares.
