- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Cinnamon sugar mixture (1/2 cup sugar + 1 tablespoon cinnamon)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring water, butter, and sugar to a boil. Stir in flour until dough forms.
- Remove from heat, let cool slightly, and mix in the egg until smooth.
- Heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C) in a deep skillet.
- Pipe small strips of dough into the hot oil, frying for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove and coat immediately with cinnamon sugar while warm.
