Description

Churros Poppers are bite-sized delights that combine a crunchy exterior with a fluffy interior, coated in sweet cinnamon sugar. Perfect for snacking or sharing at parties!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Cinnamon sugar mixture (1/2 cup sugar + 1 tablespoon cinnamon)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring water, butter, and sugar to a boil. Stir in flour until dough forms.
  2. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, and mix in the egg until smooth.
  3. Heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C) in a deep skillet.
  4. Pipe small strips of dough into the hot oil, frying for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Remove and coat immediately with cinnamon sugar while warm.
