Description

Big Mac sliders are a delicious twist on the classic burger, bringing all the iconic flavors into a bite-sized treat. With seasoned beef, tangy special sauce, and gooey cheese nestled in soft slider buns, these mini sandwiches are perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
  • 8 slider buns
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese (sliced)
  • 1 cup iceberg lettuce (finely chopped)
  • 8 dill pickles (thinly sliced)
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika to create the special sauce. Set aside.
  2. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Form ground beef into small patties (2 inches wide), season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Once patties are almost done cooking, top each with cheese slices and cover the skillet briefly until melted (~1 minute).
  4. Slice slider buns in half horizontally and spread the special sauce on both cut sides. Layer cooked patties with lettuce and pickles on the bottom halves.
  5. Top with bun tops and secure with toothpicks if desired. For warm sliders, place assembled sliders back in the skillet or oven for an additional 5 minutes.
