  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ½ cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup fresh basil (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot, add salt, and cook the manicotti shells until al dente (about 7 minutes). Drain and let cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta, half the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, basil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
