- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until thick and pale. Gently fold in dry ingredients along with whole milk until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- While cooling, mix evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and remaining cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Poke holes all over the cooled cake using a fork or toothpick and slowly pour the soaking mixture over it.
