- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, beat sugar and eggs until fluffy. Mix in pumpkin puree and vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Fold into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared dish and smooth the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, heavy cream, and additional vanilla in a bowl.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake with a fork or skewer and pour the soaking mixture over it. Refrigerate overnight.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form; spread on the cake before serving.
