Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 8 slider buns
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, pumpkin puree, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. With damp hands, form the mixture into small balls and gently flatten into patties about two inches wide.
  3. Make an indentation in each patty and place a cube of cheddar cheese inside before sealing the edges.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  5. Toast slider buns if desired. Assemble sliders by placing each patty on a bun and garnishing with fresh parsley.
