Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mash the bananas until creamy.
  4. Combine mashed bananas with melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle with a cinnamon-sugar mixture, then add remaining batter and swirl gently.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
