- 3–4 ripe bananas
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mash the bananas until creamy.
- Combine mashed bananas with melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle with a cinnamon-sugar mixture, then add remaining batter and swirl gently.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
