- 1/2 cup M&M's or chocolate chips (for eyes/buttons)
- 24 small twist pretzels (for antlers)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets and flatten slightly.
- Press M&M's into each cookie as 'eyes' and 'buttons.' Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Place pretzels on top as antlers while cookies are warm. Cool completely on wire racks before serving.
