- 1 package pre-made croissant dough (8 croissants)
- 1 (3.4 oz) box vanilla pudding mix (instant)
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the croissant dough and cut it into triangles as directed on the package.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Gently fold in powdered sugar until smooth.
- Place a tablespoon of the pastry cream at the wider end of each triangle and roll tightly from base to tip. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and fragrant.
- For the glaze, heat heavy cream in a saucepan until boiling, then remove from heat and stir in cocoa powder until smooth.
- Once the croissants have cooled slightly, dip the tops into the chocolate ganache to coat evenly. Let them set on wire racks.
