Ingredients

  • 1 package pre-made croissant dough (8 croissants)
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box vanilla pudding mix (instant)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the croissant dough and cut it into triangles as directed on the package.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Gently fold in powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Place a tablespoon of the pastry cream at the wider end of each triangle and roll tightly from base to tip. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and fragrant.
  6. For the glaze, heat heavy cream in a saucepan until boiling, then remove from heat and stir in cocoa powder until smooth.
  7. Once the croissants have cooled slightly, dip the tops into the chocolate ganache to coat evenly. Let them set on wire racks.
