Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Fit the pie crust into a pie pan and blind bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
- In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned; add diced red bell pepper and cook until softened.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream; season with salt, pepper, and cayenne.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese, sautéed sausage mixture, and green onions.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust; bake for 30-35 minutes until set and golden on top.
