Creamy Lemon Shrimp Pasta is a delightful dish that combines perfectly cooked pasta with succulent shrimp in a luscious, zesty cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine or fettuccine
  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add shrimp seasoned with salt and pepper, cooking until pink.
  3. Pour in heavy cream, lemon zest, and juice into the skillet with shrimp. Simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Toss in the drained pasta to the skillet, mixing well while adjusting consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan until melted. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
